Fisheries Information for Sustaining Harvest Bio-Economic (FISH-BE) is a communications tool and decision-support program designed to facilitate interactive examination of major decision options available to those concerned with the management of municipal an commercial fishing effort and fish sanctuaries. This tool allows scenario-building based on changes in MPA size, numbers of fishers, number of fishing days and catch per fisher. It also provides estimates on costs ad returns of MPA management, both to fishers and to the local government.
