Modelling Sustainable Forest Management: The FMP Way LGIS Forum Report

To commemorate the 11-year journey of the Forestland Management Project, the DENR through FASPS, together with the FMP Central Project Management Office, organized the 2023 LGIS Forum with the theme: “Modelling Sustainable Forest Management: The FMP Way,” bringing together multiple stakeholders from national and local governments, DENR officials and staff, relevant stakeholders and project beneficiaries.

Forum on Lesson Learned, Good Practices and Success Stories featuring ICRMP: "Partnering Strategies for Project Success" Proceedings

The Department of Environment and Natural Resources, through the Foreign-Assisted and Special Projects Service, conducted the forum on lessons learned, good practices, and success stories featuring the Integrated Coastal Resources Management Project (ICRMP) in the City of Mati, Davao Oriental with the theme "Partnering Strategies for Project Success" held on December 5, 2018.

Sustainable Forest Management Learning Visit (May 2017, Hanoi, Vietnam)

 
The Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) GmbH has been commissioned by the German Ministry for the Environment, Nature Conservation, Building and Nuclear Safety (BMUB) to implement the project “Forest and Climate Protection Panay Phase II” (ForClim II). The overall project objective is: The Central Panay Mountain Range with globally significant biodiversity is protected and natural resources in the adjacent areas are managed and used by the local communities in a sustainable and climate friendly manner.

National Conference on the Governance of Tenure : documentation (September 22, 2015 in Quezon City)

In support of sustainable land and resource management, in protected areas, indigenous peoples’ ancestral domains and forestlands alike, as well as to the implementation of sustainable forest management and the PNRPS, the DENR-FMB, in cooperation with GIZ, organized a National Conference on the Governance of Tenure on September 22, 2015 in Quezon City with the following objectives:
