Bamboo Furniture and Handicraft Industry for Sustainable Community Development and Environmental Protection: Project Completion Report
The project “Bamboo Furniture and Handicraft Industry for Sustainable Community
Development and Environmental Protection†was proposed by DENR CENRO- San
Jose, Occidental Mindoro in 2017 and approved by FASPS, DENR in 2018. The project
agreement was signed in May, 2018 with a total budget of Php 868,000.00. The project
was implemented for a total of 12 months beginning from July 2018 and ending on
December 2019.
The development objective of the project is to improve the socio-economic condition
of the ATPDAI and contribute to sustainable forest resources conservation.
Technical Assistance for Improving Biodiversity Conservation in Protected Areas of the Philippines: Progress Report No. 11 ( Final Report)
The Danish funded project "Technical Assistance for Improving Biodiversity Conservation in Protected Areas of the Philippines" (TABC) has been implemented from February 1999 to January 2002.This progress report assesses inputs, activities, outputs, objectives, sustainability of the project activities and major assumptions. In addition, it discusses the lessons learned over the period 1999 - 2001 and provides some recommendations.
Forestry Sector Program: Program Completion Report
This report enumerates the accomplishments of the project highlighting the major policy and institutional reforms instituted, the technical assistance grants, reforestations and area development, community forestry program, research and development, special projects and information monitoring systems. The report also includes milestones facilitated in delivering a multi-faceted program and lessons learned.
EcoGov has delivered technical assistance in four technical areas that represent important sectors within a watershed or contiguous bio-geographic areas for natural resource management. These include Forest and Forestlands Management (FFM), Urban Environment Management (UEM) (including solid waste management (SWM) and waste water management (WWM) and Coastal Resource Management (CRM), with governance and advocacy cutting across these sectors.
Adaptation to Climate Change and Conservation of the Biodiversity in the Philippines: Final Evaluation Report
This report consists of the result of the external evaluation missions conducted for the Project. The mission included focus group discussions, individual interviews with project partners and a site visit to selected small grant project partners in Southern Leyte.
Adoption and Implementation of the Forestry Information System (FIS) for the Philippine Project: Completion Report
The Forestry Information System (FIS) is an integration of computer-based system modules of the major functions of the Forest Management Service (FMS). The forestry data are integrated from the community, provincial, regional up to the national level in a systematic manner, guided by standards, and supported by appropriate computer support systems. The developed applications for FIS are based on the following major activities in the forestry sector: a. Forest Land Use Plan b. Community-Based Forest Management C. Plantation Forest Management d. Forest Land Grazing Management e.
