The Camiguin Coastal Resource Management Project (CCRMP) is a five year project funded by the New Zealand Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade(MFAT) with the Department of Environment and Natural Resources as lead executing agency and the Provincial and Municipal Governments of Camiguin as implementing partners.

Community Based Forest and Mangrove Management Project (CBFMMP) Panay and Negros Islands : Draft Final Report

The following report concludes the Final Report on the Community Based Forest and Mangrove Management Project (CBFMMP) in Panay and Negros, Philippines. It shall provide comprehensive information on the project planning, implementation, achievements, impact and lessons learned for the project stakeholders, especially DENR, LBP and KfW. Besides, this report shall function as Preparatory Study for KfW’s Project Completion Mission.

Philippines Chiller Energy Efficiency Project :Project Completion Report.

The Philippines-Chiller Energy Efficiency Project (PCEEP) was in line with the country’s strategies to achieving the objectives of the Montreal Protocol, Kyoto Protocol and Paris Agreement and consistent with the goals of the Medium Term Philippine Development Plan (MTPDP CY2005-2010) which contributed to the achievement of a more inclusive growth by supporting the country among others, to reduce the vulnerabilities by expanding the country’s social safety net, improving disaster risk management, and piloting and expanding

Forestry Sector Project : Dumayop Watershed Rehabilitation Subproject - Subproject Completion Report

The Dumayop Watershed Subproject is geographically located at the southeastern side of the municipality of Bagabag and northeastern side of the municipality of Quezon, both within the province of Nueva Vizcaya.  It is more specifically located within the coordinates 16° 29’ to 16° 34’ latitude and 121° 15’ to 121° 23’ longitude. It has a total area of 3,870 hectares covered with CBFMA of which about 1,710.24 hectares was developed under the CSD component of the FSP implementation. It is composed of three (3) parcels.

Project Performance Audit Report on the Forestry Development Project in the Philippines

The purpose of the Project was to establish large-scale, commercial timber plantations that will protect the environment and improve the living conditions of local residents. The Project intended to
(i.) protect the watersheds of the Banban and Vintar rivers in the province of Ilocos Nort by restoring its forest cover;
(ii.) establish tree plantations for timber, fuelwood and pulpwood production, and constriction roads to serve reforestation activities as well as the needs of local residents; and

Project for the Enhancement of Community-Based Forest Management Program (E-CBFMP) in the Philippines: Terminal Report

The Project for the Enhancement of Community-Based Forest Management Program (ECBFMP) in the Philippines was a 5-year technical cooperation between the governments of the Philippines and Japan, particularly through the Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA).  The two governments agreed to implement the Project from June 2004-June 2009 with the Department of Environment and Natural Resources (DENR) as its executing agency.

A Framework for Sustainable Philippine Archipelagic Development: Revaluing our Maritime Heritage and Affirming the Unity of Land and Sea (ArcDev)

This framework is a "a work in progress" and has, so far, tried to consider the many facets that characterized the politial and institutional, socio-economic and ecosystem-related concerns that relate to coastal and marine archipelagic development. Hopefully, it will help forge concensus and partnership among  the various stakeholders in the country, favoring the adoption of ArcDev.

Land Administration and Management Project : Project Completion Report

El Nido Marine Reserve Project (Debt-for-Nature Swap Program: Third Tranche)

The El Nido Marine Reserve (ENMR) is a critical zone of the Palawan Biosphere Reserve and located within the territorial jurisdiction of the municipality of El Nido, Palawan. As recipient of the Debt-for-Nature Swap Program-Third Tranche (DFNS-3), the ENMR had made significant achievements on marine and forests protection. The ENMR Project has created a niche in the arena of protection and continued support this initial achievement should be complemented with continued support to meet the regular functioning of the project in its technical, organizational and financial stability.

Third Davao del Norte Irrigation Project

The Third Davao del Norte Irrigation Project is the second of the two irrigation projects formulated under the Asian Development Bank (ADB)-financed technical assistance for Second Mindanao Irrigation Study. Under the ADB loan package, the National Irrigation Administration (NIA) is the lead implementing agency with the Department of Health, the Department of Public Works and Highways, and the Department of Environment and Natural Resources through the Forest Management Bureau as the other executing agencies.
