Ecosystem-based Adaptation in 2 River Basins (E2RB) Project Learning Exchange

The Ecosystem-Based Adaptation in 2 River Basin (E2RB) Project Learning Exchange was conducted on November 14-17, 2022. The activity concentrated on four (4) focal areas: a) application of ecosystem-based approach to management in river basins, b) facilitating meaningful stakeholders’ collaboration/participation in river basin management, c) demonstration of Payments to Ecosystem Services (PES) policies and implementation for watershed management and protection, and d) the use of information systems for science-based policy-making, disaster-risk reduction, lobbying and advocacy.

Survey and Characterization of Native Fruit and Ethnomedicinal Trees in Apayao: Technical Report

This project, implemented from January 2022 to December 2022, aimed to study the morphological and chemical characteristics of native fruit and ethnomedicinal trees in Apayao to serve as a basis for conservation in terms of propagation and policy recommendations.

National River Basin Summit 2023: Accelerating Change through Partnership and Cooperation

The 2nd National River Basin Summit was jointly conducted on March 20-21, 2023 by the DENR-RBCO, in partnership with GIZ, through the Ecosystem-based Adaptation in 2 River Basins in the Philippines (E2RB). The Summit adopted the theme "Accelerating change through partnership and cooperation" in line with the celebration of the 2023 World Water Day.
