Fifth Operation Phase of the GEF Small Grants Program in the Philippines (SGP-5)

The project aims to secure global environmental benefits through community-based biodiversity conservation initiatives and actions in selected priority sites in the Philippines, and will contribute to the Philippine Development Plan 2011-2016, in strengthening and enhancing the protection of vulnerable and ecologically fragile areas, especially watersheds, and areas where biodiversity is highly threatened.

Final Project Report of the Fifth Operational Phase of the GEF - Small Grants Programme in the Phlippines

To contribute to overcoming the threats of habitat destruction and land-use change owing to destructive fishing and farming practices, overexploitation of valuable species and pollution, SGP-5 in the Philippines supported local people’s organizations, NGOs and community-based organizations in designing and implementing projects to contribute to global biodiversity conservation using the landscape approach and modeling and implementation of best practices.

Manwal sa Pangangasiwa ng Kaalaman, Pagbabahagi at Pagtutulungan para sa Programa ng GEF-SGP- 5

Ang manwal na ito ay nagsisilbing balangkas para sa mga nagpapatupad ng proyekto ng SGP5 at kanilang mga tinutulungang mga tao hinggil sa proseso at mga pamamaraan ng pangangasiwa sa kaalaman sa iba't ibang antas. Ito ay ibinatay sa programa ng SGP5 subali't ang saklaw ng laman ay pangkalahatan at maaaring gamitin ng iba pang organisasyon at mga taong nasa larangan ng pangangalaga ng samu't saring buhay (biodiversity conservation).

Ang handbook na ito ay nagsisilbing sanggunian at gabay para sa mga taong gustong makilahok at manguna sa pangangalaga ng samu't saring buhay sa kanilang pamayanan. Ang mga nilalaman ay nakatutok sa pangunahing kaalaman at impormasyon na kakailanganin para sa maayos na pagsubaybay at pagtatasa ng mga gawain sa pamamahala ng pamayanan sa samu't saring buhay.

Terminal Evaluation Report of the Fifth Operational Phase of the GEF- Small Grants Programme in the Philippines (GEF Project ID 66837; PIMS-4517)

This Terminal Evaluation (TE) Report for The Fifth Operational Phase of the GEF-Small Grants Programme in the Philippines is intended to assess the achievement of project resutls and to draw lessons that can both improve the sustainability of the benefits from this project to Philippiines and for UNDP's future programmes especially to SGP GEF initiatives. This TE is also intended to "promote accountability for the achievement of GEF objectives; including the global environmental benefits."
