One of the components of the Bamboo Research and Development Project (BRDP) is the Bambusetum Development Component wherein 3 Bambuseta were built for the preservation of genetic variability of Philippine bamboo species and diversification of raw material. These bambuseta were built in Baguio City (56 species), Los Banos (32 species) and Davao (30 species). Genetic Resource Conservation, Propagation and distribution, International Bamboo Species Exchange, and Documentation and Library are some of the activities initiated by the Project.
Emanating from the GEF/UNDP-assisted project Scaling-Up SDS-SEA Implementation in the Philippines, the National State of Oceans and Coasts (NSOC) Report was developed as part of a regional commitment among country members of the Partnerships in Environmental Management for the Seas of East Asia (PEMSEA).
