The research project ASEM/2003/052 – Improving financial returns to smallholder tree farmers in the Philippines – funded by the Australian Centre for International Agricultural Research, was carried out in Leyte in the Philippines over the period 1 January 2005 to 31 December 2008. It was the third of a series of four ACIAR smallholder forestry projects.
