Conservation of Priority Protected Areas Project (CPPAP)

The project objectives were to protect ten areas of high biodiversity value, improve the Department of Environment and Natural Resources (DENR) protected area (PA) management capabilities; incorporate local communities and Non-Government Organizations (NGOs) into the PA management structure; confirm the tenure of indigenous cultural communities and long established residents of PAs; establish a permanent funding mechanism for PA management and development; and develop sustainable forms of livelihood consistent with biodiversity protection.

Conservation and Sustainable Management of Globally Important Agricultural Heritage Systems (GIAHS) Pilot Country: Philippines, terminal report

The Food and Agriculture (FAO) launched an initiative for the dynamic conservation of Globally Important Agricultural Heritage Systems (GIAHS) during the World Summit on sustainable Development in 2002. GIAHS are specific agricultural systems and landscapes that reflect the co-evolution of humankind with its environment.

National Integrated Protected Areas Programme (NIPAP): Final Report

This report briefly discuss the project followed by an assessment of outputs based on the Logical Framework. Much of the information is tabular and based on monitoring processes. However, the tables have been kept to the minimum with additional information included in the appendices that have their own tables. Then comes an elaboration of the Sustainability Process because this was not, with the benefit of hindsight, sufficiently covered in the log-frame.
