Land Administration and Management Project (LAMP) is an inter-agency project of the Government of the Philippines through the Department of Environment and Natural Resources and its partner agencies, Department of Justice / Land Registration Authority and the Department of Agrarian Reform. It is the first step towards the implementation of a proposed long-term Land Administration and management Program (LAM Program), goal of which is to alleviate poverty and enhance economic growth by improving the security of land tenure and efficiency of land markets through the development of an efficient system of land titling and administration. Overall, the Project was able to achieve the objectives. Key achievements were made in the areas of policy development and consensus building, testing of titling approaches and development of replicable procedures, development of procedures for detection of fake and overlapping, duplicate titles, and in the design of LAMP 2.
