Survey and Characterization of Native Fruit and Ethnomedicinal Trees in Apayao: Project Completion Report

This project, implemented from January 2022 to December 2022, aimed to study the morphological and chemical characteristics of native fruit and ethnomedicinal trees in Apayao to serve as a basis for conservation in terms of propagation and policy recommendations. Results showed that the 44 species considered in the project require conservation and protection, as chemical analyses provided evidence supporting the traditional use of ethnomedicinal trees.
