Collaborative Management: Common Pool resources: Practitioner's Guide
The Collaborative Management of Common Pool Resources (CM-CPR) is a community-based approach to managing shared economic resources from natural resource commons to human- made additions. Through this, the joint stewardship of common pool resources at the local and micro levels could take place and provide focused assistance for their concerns as soon as they occur. This guide goes well in-depth into CM-CPR and would not only provide the concept, objectives, and approaches that the practitioners could make use of or refer from, but will also help in the continuous improvement of their collaborative management initiatives.
This guide emanated from the pilot experience of the DENR and the Deutsche Gesellschaft
für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) for the Responsible Land Governance in Mindanao (RLGM) project. This also describes the policy context and core problem and provides details of the RLGM pilot initiative as a case study on implementing CM-CPR. Rest assured that before the materialization of this knowledge product, the data and results included in this were thoroughly tested and considered just so the most fitting guide would be developed. This resulted in a study that will inspire practitioners to consider insights to influence their future endeavors.
