Locally-managed BDFE Practicing Proper Waste Management

The Tingloy: Batalan Grill (Floating) Restaurant established under the biodiversity-friendly enterprise initiative of the SMARTS PH Project practices proper waste. The community-based/owned BDFE established a partnership with Pure Ocean, a private entity that now purchases the restaurant’s accumulated plastic waste. Food waste and other biodegradable waste, on the other hand, are made into fertilizer.
