A Proposed DENR Road Map for Replicating and Scaling Up of Governance-Oriented Integrated Ecosystems Management

This report focuses on how to sustain IEM implementation in the four ENRMP-supported sites, replicate best practices in existing and new initiatives based on lessons learned, and scale up or expand IEMconsistent approaches. It provides a brief assessment of the IEM processes as they are implemented in the pilot sites as well as a summary of lessons from the pilots while injecting insights from previous projects and trends of ongoing ENR and/or multi-sectoral development programs. As a context for IEM replication and scaling up, several concepts on replication and scaling up are also discussed. The report identifies several enabling gaps that will have to be addressed in order to move IEM towards replication and scaling up. The report ends with specific recommendations on how DENR can move forward with the suggested road map for IEM replication and scaling up with existing and future initiatives.
